How do I fit ERO Joint® SK round and V-belts?

ERO Joint® SK (Self Knot) round belt assembly video :

Stage 1

Découpe de la corde ronde

Cut the material approximately 120 mm longer than required.

Stage 2

Dénuder la corde

The next step is to release the drive cable.

To do this, strip each side of the Belt.

The length of the sheath should be 10 mm less than the desired length.

Step 3

Faire un noeud dans la corde

Make a first knot with both ends.

Step 4

Sceller le noeud avec un point de colle

You can apply a small dot of glue to secure the knot.

Then tie a second knot (as shown in the image, make it in the opposite direction to the first to secure the Belt).

Step 5

Couper les brins pendants

Any wires hanging down should be cut off (in the event that the Belt has to be welded).

Step 6

Enfoncer le noeud dans le creux de la courroie

Insert the knot into one of the two recesses in the Belt.

Step 7

Fusionner la courroie

Using the EERGO (or MULTI TC) iron and the U-bolt, merge the Belt.

Stage 8

Ebavurer la courroie

Use small pliers to trim off any excess material.
